A short introduction to Profile

What is Profile?

Profile is a component that stores and provides data about users and organizations. This includes data about users’ and organizations’ digital notification addresses, as well as some additional profile information such as a user’s list of favourite parties (preferred organisations). The two main consumers of the API are Altinn Notification and Arbeidsflaten.
