  • Consistency across services

    To simplify usage and avoid confusion, interaction patterns should be shared accross services.

  • Content in the form

    Explain what is needed to fill the form correctly to the user and divide the content into multiple steps.

  • Design principles

    When developing or improving existing products we follow a set of principles to ensure usability and accessibility for all. We recommend following these principles when developing new services.

  • Entering the form

    To make the user experience as best as possible you should think about how you link between your agency and the Altinn-app.

  • UI-components

    The different components have been made to fit together as a larger whole. This makes it important to follow the guidelines for how they should be used to achieve a consistent and recognizable appearance. UI components that are currently included in Altinn's library are found below.

  • Language

    Guidelines should ensure common language and understandibility across services in Altinn.

  • Accessibility

    Good accessibility helps people with disabilities access our services in a meaningful way. By using Altinn 3 large parts of your service is handled by us, but you still have to remember some things yourself.
