Access management

Access management lets people and organisations review authorisations and grant or revoke access.

Access management brings together the functions people and organisations use to manage who may act on their behalf in Altinn.

You can, among other things,

• review the authorisations held by a person, organisation or system user
• grant and revoke access to services and resources
• delegate access packages and individual rights
• manage delegable access to APIs registered in the Resource Registry

The available options depend on the service, resource and the authorisations held by the person managing access.

For service owners

The service owner describes the resource and its authorisation rules. Once the resource is published, Altinn can use the rules and its access-package assignment when users manage access.
